CANEGROWERS has developed a Workplace Health & Safety Guide specifically for its members. This document can be accessed on the Queensland CANEGROWERS website under the Information Hub.
Members will need their Membership Number to be able to gain access. Your Membership Number is noted on your address label that goes with your CANEGROWERS magazine or you can phone CANEGROWERS Mackay on 4944 2600 and it will be provided to you.
The Guide contains sample policies, forms, checklists and registers which are all in an editable PDF format, or you can use the Word document. Alternatively, CANEGROWERS Mackay Reception can print a copy for members.
Simply save the pages and forms relevant to your business on your computer, tablet or phone, or print them out. The guide is divided in the following sections:

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland have produced a Serious about Farm Safety booklet and this includes all aspects of legislative requirenents and other important information to ensure that your business remains compliant. The booklet includes the following templates on a CD:
